Last year Huawei released the #Huawei P30 series, The P30 series consist of a P30 Lite, P30 and P30 Pro. I used the Huawei P30 for a couple of months as my daily driver. I think that this phone is still an amazing buy in 2020 for so many reasons. Apart from the bright full screen display with a notch (which design is still trending on most smartphones in 2020), I think the camera’s collaboration with Leica gives me nostalgia every so often.

Let’s start off with some of the key features and end off with the main attraction, the camera. The P30 comes in an assortment of colours, Aurora, Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal, Black and Pearl White. The phone has a beautiful OLED screen and a glass and front back with an aluminium frame. It has 128GB internal storage (with an SD card slot) and 6GB of RAM. It has USB type-c and a 3.5mm audio jack (wired earphones oh yes!). It has a super fast in-display fingerprint sensor which is I found pretty accurate and Although the phone was launched in March 26, 2019, the camera setup is what keeps it tech trendy.

This post will soon turn into a beauitful gallery of smartphone images which shows Huawei photography produce amazing landscape images crispy clear images of people.

There is a 32MP wide lens in front for selfies and there are three cameras on the back with the below specs:

40 MP, f/1.8, 27mm (wide), Laser Autofocus (Main Camera)
8 MP, f/2.4, 80mm (telephoto), Laser Autofocus, OIS, 3x optical zoom (Portrait Photos)
16 MP, f/2.2, 17mm (ultrawide), PDAF, Laser Autofocus (Wide Angle)

This article is all about the camera and how it aged in 2020, along with the beautiful design. So please have a look below the images I shot myself with the various lenses all on a smartphone! (PS. I have uploaded all images Raw without any editing)

Overall, the Huawei phones have always provided a great quality smartphone but as a camera specifically, I found this to be a fantastic buy… and in my opinion still is in 2020.
