Leaving our homes these days takes a lot more energy and awareness than it used to. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic our world hasn’t been the same. People who want to leave home have to wear masks, sanitize constantly and be aware of everything they touch including and especially their personal items and face. Some people, upon their return to their homes, even sanitize themselves and their belongings just to err on the side of caution. Our cellphones, in this instance, pose a big risk to us and we are always in contact with it. Luckily this has been identified and addressed by Lexon. The Oblio helps you with just that!
They’ve created not only a wireless charger but a mobile sanitizer station as well. Oblio, which means ‘forgot’ in Italian, is the product which is now a must have in homes and offices.
Equipped with a charging station that can fully charge any smart in 3 hours, it also disinfects one side of a smart in 20 minutes and just needs the smartphone to be flipped for the otherside. The designers, Manuela Simonelli & Andrea Quaglio, also had the idea in mind that once smartphones were inserted into Oblio people would forget them and be more present, hence the name.
Another great feature of this product is its ability to be a reminder. It’s elegant design makes it a perfect landmark to leave our everyday items such as wallets and keys alongside Oblio and hence making it easier to grab our things and go.
Oblio received the CES Innovation award for 2021 making it all the impressive to have. This after it was named as one of best inventions by Time Magazine. The Oblio is available at Takealot.
