So many of us invested in smart wearable tech over the December and January holidays or simply received them as gifts from a loved one – or not. Nevertheless we have become so attached to these nifty gadgets and now during the #Cornavirus outbreak we have to let go…Not really!

So here are some tips on how to use your #wearable tech while you’re on lockdown.

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post and I used an #Apple Watch Series 3 in the images below.

1. Set your wearable up before training – this way you still get to measure your calories burnt without going for a run outside or in the gym. You might be thinking that this is exclusively to The #AppleWatch but it is not, you can use your #Fitbit or any other smart watch or fitness tracker wearable and make use of the mobile app associated with the watch to do so. 2. Use it while you’re working at your desk – avoid getting distracted by your Instagram feed or #TikTok during this season haha and check your notifications via your wearable.  I personally have started finding this extremely useful, #WorkingFromHome is different for everyone, and if I can manage visibility notifications on my phone without having to miss it, why not. Remember, not everything is urgent.

3. If need be – try replying via your wearable, ⌚️ this helps because you avoid entertaining unnecessary chats. You could use voice if need be, and if you’re limited with functionality, just make use of the best default message you have at your means. You could always get back to it in a few moments later, or add some extra context to it once you’re done typing that document for the office.

4. Accessorise a bit! Change your watch strap or band and feel a bit smart while you’re at your home office 🏠 or like me – office desk 😂. Now that I am wearing my watch, I actually feel a bit more professional while I am working, it also adds that extra feeling of being back outdoors or in the office as you were usually… not that long ago!
